Hypnotherapy Training is taught at the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy®, through the Florida Department of Education's Commission for Independent Education, License #3448. IIH is licensed to teach medical/clinical hypnotherapy as a school, yet all practitioners are required to work within the confines of Federal, State, County, and City laws. All medical, mental health, or dental conditions require the appropriate referral, prescription, supervision, or direction from a qualified licensed practitioner of the healing arts as per Florida Statute 485. Graduates who are not licensed practitioners of the healing arts should not use words such as heal, treat, cure, or diagnose, and are strongly discouraged from operating outside the scope of their credentials.
