IAIH 9th Annual conference

The Enlightened Life:

Community, Conscious Leadership, and Inner Transformation

October 8–11 2026 · Orlando, Florida
Embassy Suites Orlando Airport

The Enlightened Life conference is a gathering for those who recognize that enlightenment is not an escape from life, but a deeper way of living it—together.

This immersive, multi-day experience brings hypnotherapists, coaches, facilitators, teachers, and conscious leaders into a shared field of inquiry focused on inner transformation, conscious leadership, and community building. At the heart of the conference is the understanding that hypnosis and altered states of awareness are powerful gateways for personal awakening, healing, and human flourishing, especially when applied relationally and ethically.

Rooted in Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, contemplative wisdom, and transformational practice, the conference honors enlightenment as an ongoing developmental process—one that unfolds through self-awareness, relational intelligence, and conscious use of the subconscious mind. Rather than positioning hypnosis as a technique alone, The Enlightened Life explores hypnotherapy as a path of self-realization, empowerment, and service.

Blending spiritual insight with real-world application, the conference highlights how hypnotherapy, life coaching, NLP, and inner work support leadership development, emotional maturity, and community cohesion. Participants will explore how subconscious change processes inform leadership, how conscious communication and NLP-based frameworks support collaboration, and how coaching and hypnotic facilitation empower individuals to live with clarity, responsibility, and purpose.

This gathering reflects the Institute’s evolving model—moving beyond individual self-realization toward collective awakening, empowered leadership, and shared impact, while honoring the transformative power of hypnosis as a foundational tool for change.

Special Opening Master Class – October 8

Thursday, October 8 · 1:00–6:00 PM
A Master Class with Matthew J. Brownstein

The conference opens with a deep-dive master class led by Matthew, setting the philosophical, experiential, and practical foundation for the days that follow. This extended session will explore the role of hypnosis, Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, and conscious facilitation in the enlightenment process—examining how altered states, inner inquiry, and relational awareness support life mastery, leadership, and transformation.

This master class will also introduce core themes related to life coaching, NLP, and subconscious patterning, offering participants a shared framework for the conference and a deeper appreciation of hypnosis as both a spiritual and practical tool.

Conference Schedule

1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Opening Master Class

Matthew J. Brownstein

Mastering the Hypnotic Induction

Join Matthew J. Brownstein for an experiential exploration of “hypnogenesis”—the beginning of the trance ritual through the induction phase of a hypnosis session.

This master class is designed to help participants feel more confident, skilled, and grounded in the induction process.

Topics will include:

  • Rapid inductions
  • Instantaneous inductions
  • Confusion inductions
  • Conscious mind overload
  • Conversational inductions
  • Mechanical inductions
  • NLP inductions
  • Induction preparation

This interactive workshop includes live demonstrations and ample practice time so attendees can leave feeling more self-assured in their ability to induce an altered state.

As Matthew often teaches: “Your therapy is only as good as your trance.”

Full Conference Day

9:00 AM – 10:15 AM

Keynote

Matthew J. Brownstein

The Enlightened Life — Community, Conscious Leadership, and Personal Transformation

Matthew’s keynote opens the first full day of the conference by exploring the importance of facilitating enlightenment within the field of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, developing strong community, or sangha, creating empowered leaders, and providing a meaningful pathway for personal growth and inner transformation.

Continuing from the Thursday master class on hypnotic inductions, this keynote will focus on the deepening phase of the work. The days that follow will honor the broader process of hypnotic facilitation, transformational practice, and the return to daily life after meaningful and lasting change has occurred.

This keynote moves through the metaphor of a complete hypnotic experience—from induction, to deepening, to powerful transformational modalities, and finally into a more enlightened life as a “healed healer.”

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Luis Miguel Gallardo

The Art and Practice of Combining Coaching and Hypnotherapy

This presentation offers a practical framework for integrating professional coaching with hypnotherapy in a single session. Luis will explore when to transition from conscious coaching into trance-based depth work, ethical considerations of dual practice, and language patterns that bridge both modalities.

Includes live demonstration.

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Lunch

1:30 PM – 2:20 PM

Faith Bouie

Nirva Interpersonal Hypnotherapy Clinic and the Tree of Life

Join Faith Bouie, Director of Operations for Nirva Interpersonal Hypnotherapy Clinic, as she shares the developing vision of Nirva and its relationship to the larger pathway from IIH into the IAIH, the IAIH Member Directory, and the living expression of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy through Nirva.

Rooted in the principles of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy and inspired by the wisdom traditions that inform the Institute’s work, this presentation will explore how Nirva’s organizational structure reflects a living model of emanation, expansion, and service. Through the symbolic lens of the Tree of Life, Faith will offer a thoughtful look at how community, practitioner development, ethical client care, and conscious leadership can work together as part of a larger vision for transformation.

2:30 PM – 3:20 PM

Danniyille Lyn Viola

Awakening to Enlightenment: An Experiential Embodiment Experience of Higher Light

This presentation offers a first-hand experience of higher light embodiment as Danniyille guides us in creating a collective, coherent, unified container of high frequency light with the intention of supporting presence, alignment, and embodiment. Drawing upon almost 10 years guiding individuals and groups, along with her own personal experience, Danniyille will share key points and takeaways to best support your enlightenment process no matter where you are on your journey.

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Amber Holley

Manifestation, Regulation, and the Return to Source

Why can manifestation sometimes feel difficult to sustain, even when the practices themselves are deeply meaningful?

Drawing from hypnotherapy, nervous system regulation, spiritual practice, and the teachings of Neville Goddard and broader New Thought traditions, Amber Holley explores how unresolved subconscious patterns and dysregulation can interfere with a person’s ability to experience lasting change.

This presentation offers an integrative approach in which hypnotherapy helps uncover and repattern limiting subconscious material, nervous system regulation restores greater safety and coherence, and ongoing spiritual practice supports deeper transformation over time.

Rather than manifestation through force or control, this talk explores healing through surrender and a return to trust in Source and the inherent goodness of life — allowing a person to more naturally live from a transformed state of being rather than continually striving to create one.

4:00 PM – 4:50 PM

Ashlea Dillard

The Hidden Cost of Survival Mode

This presentation offers an honest look at what it costs practitioners to live in chronic overdrive. Drawing on Ashlea’s previous career as a firefighter and paramedic, along with her current work as an LPC and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, this talk addresses nervous system burnout among healers themselves and reframes “trying harder” as part of the problem.

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Meniyka Kiravell

Embodied Enlightenment and the Path of Actualization

This presentation explores what it means to live as an “enlightened” being in a physical world, moving from passive observation into active conscious creation.

Meniyka will discuss destiny and design, the timing of change, and how to manifest larger goals through the union of internal alignment and inspired action.

10:00 AM – 10:50 AM

Elizabeth (Liz) Carey

Beyond Insight: Why People Don’t Change and How Hypnotherapy Unlocks What's Stuck

This session explores why awareness alone does not produce transformation. Drawing on developmental insights from Erik Erikson, this session examines how early survival strategies (fight, flight, freeze, and fawn) become embedded patterns that shape adult identity and behavior. What once served as protection can quietly solidify into limitation.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of why clients (and leaders) often remain stuck despite insight and knowledge, and where conscious, cognitive approaches fall short. The session highlights the critical role of subconscious processes in creating lasting change and offers practical, clinically relevant tools to help interrupt ingrained patterns. Designed to bridge theory and application, this session will translate complex behavioral concepts into clear, actionable strategies that support meaningful and sustainable transformation.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Cassi Eubank

The Art of Empathy: How to Avoid Empathy Overload and Secondary Trauma

Reframes empathy as a refinable skill rather than something to be endured. Practical and experiential — gives practitioners tools to stay compassionately connected without absorbing client emotions.

Includes specialized work with first responders.

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Lunch

1:30 PM – 2:20 PM

Matthew Langford

How a Simple Mind Can Lead to Deeper Presence

This presentation explores the shift from conception—labeling, interpreting, and storytelling—to pure perception and direct experience.

Drawing on hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and non-dual contemplative traditions, Matthew will help practitioners and attendees release mental complexity and reconnect with present-moment awareness.

2:30 PM – 3:20 PM

Kati Lambert

Life Transformation Through the Lens of Medical Hypnosis

This presentation explores the synergy between medical hypnotherapy, symptom management, and emotional resilience.

Kati will focus on subconscious interventions for chronic pain, IBS, and medical procedural distress, supporting practitioners who are ready to move beyond habit-change work into deeper clinical applications.

3:30 PM – 4:20 PM

Rene Brent

Booked, Balanced, and Doing Work That Matters: Building a Thriving Practice Without Burning Out

Practical strategies for building and sustaining a hypnotherapy practice — client experiences that generate referrals, simple systems and automations, staying consistently booked without overworking, and the role of practitioner self-work as the foundation for long-term success.

4:20 PM - 4:50pm

Sara Ajna

Water as a Mirror in Hypnotherapy

Original research on observable changes in water during hypnotherapy sessions, using water crystallography as a metaphor for the subconscious mind and a lens for understanding hypnotherapeutic transformation. Includes original imagery from her client work.

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Ann Marie Morales

The Realms and Beings of the Super and Subconscious

As hypnotherapists explore the Subconscious and Superconscious realms of our clients, we may encounter energetic hitchhikers. With 10 years of professional entity removal and a lifetime of personal supernatural experiences, Ann Marie will discuss her encounters with entity attachments and present anecdotal client experiences of realms and beings. An entertaining and informative presentation.
